Hello and welcome to Justanswer!
The ABS and brake lights will come on when the ABS module has seen a problem somewhere in the system and sets a fault code.
There are many things that will cause the lights to come on ranging from the brake switch, the module itself, hydraulic control unit and pump motor, wheel speed sensors, and wiring between any of the components. The most common cause of an ABS light would be a failed wheel speed sensors, but I've seen some module issues on these too.
The first thing that will need to be done is use a scan tool to see what fault codes are setting and go from there.
