3500 Ram: I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 Diesel 4x4 4-door,

Customer Question

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 Diesel 4x4 4-door, I am trying to replace the air conditioner drier mounted to the wall of the passenger side. I got the out side line off with no problem but can't get the line that goes into the cab to release. Is there a trick to it?

It does not actually go into the cab. The connection is about 2 inches outside the cab.Remove the two 10mm bolts that secure the accumulator to the bracket. While you have the retaining spring tool installed, move the accumulator back and forth while pulling on the accumulator. This will help unlock the spring.

Did you get the fitting disconnected?
