Bad Fuel took out injection pump and injectors on my 2006

Customer Question

Bad Fuel took out injection pump and injectors on my 2006 5.9L Dodge. They were replaced with Bosch rebuilt injectors and injection pump. My fuel mileage is down 30-35% both empty and towing a 14000# ***** wheel. The Pacific NW Bosch Distibutor Said that have see this 6-8 times before with no answers, they also stated there were around 6 injectors changes since 2006 and my original injectors are no longer available. In a 212 mile trip GPS Millage I burned 9 more Gallons of fuel then previously on the same trip. Filling and refilling I filled until the fuel pump click off with out delivering any more Fuel. ran the same trip Monday empty cruse control at 65 mph Got 16.18 MPG. Wind 3-5 Mph
Temp 60-75 *F. I have this trip many times and have gotten 22-25 depends on winds.
I have manual Trans. K&N air filter and a FS2500 by pass oil filter rest is stock. The only reason that I got the Dodge was the Cummins. The new Fords are getting way better millage then this 130K two new front ends rides like a dump truck etc.
