Dakota: Just replaced head gaskets on my 2000 3.9L v6 Dakota

Customer Question

Just replaced head gaskets on my 2000 3.9L v6 Dakota and now nothing happens when I turn the key. No power at all, no noise; the only thing I see is the brake light and the 4x4 light.

Hi there,
Have you refitted all ground leads to the engine and body?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

I think so. The one on the right head cover, one each on the back of each head, one on the power steering bracket, and one (I think) on the ignition coil bracket.

Hi again,
If all the grounds are connected, then maybe you have blown a major fuse or fusible link.
Did you have the battery disconnected while doing this repair?
Did you see any large spark when reconnecting the battery?
Does your immobiliser light flash while key is out, and does the light go off at key on?
