lt front wheel thumping each rotation in my 99 ram 1500 4wd, brakes are new.
I would start by check the tires for any shifted belts. You may need to have the tire off the ground to feel all around the tire,be sure to check both tires. Please let me know what you find,Don

Don. Does not seem to be a tire... Seems more of a mechanical sound. I yanked and pulled on all the suspension bars, tires etc.Could it be in my new [2 months ago] pads and rotors ??? mike

When you hit the brakes does the brake pedal pulsate or does the steering wheel vibrate?

no stops just fine. I added new calipers in the brake job. mike

If the thumping is just in the front I would recheck the tires for any shifted belts. You need to run your hand all over the surface of the tire to "feel" for a bump.
