Hello!Did you still need help?Does the engine currently start and run?Would you like me to walk you through this diagnoses or are you just looking for possible causes?
no right now it dosent if ilet it sit for a while it will right now there is no fuel
So right now it is not starting? It cranks over but does not start?Does the check engine light come on with the key on?
no not starting cranks over fine when gauges are not working there is no fuel pressure eng light comes on if i leave key on
The first thing to do is to be sure the computer is awake. Turn the key on and check reference voltage to the tps, cam and crank sensors. If there is full reference voltage, check to be sure the ASD relay is engaging when trying to start the engine and that there is power to the injectors and coil/coils when cranking. IF there is no power to the injectors or coil when cranking and the ASD relay is not engaging, then we might have a bad cam or crank sensor (or a valve timing issue). If there is no reference voltage to these sensors with the key on, then the computer might not be waking up. We will need to check all powers and grounds going into the computer with the key on. This includes, all powers through the computer fuses, fusible links and even the ignition switch.Hint: Sometimes the cam and crank sensors can short out and pull the computer down temporarily. If all powers and grounds check out and we still do not have any reference voltage to the cam, crank or the tps, then disconnect them one by one with the key on to see if the reference voltage comes back. If so, then one of the sensors is bad and will need to be replaced.
i have every thing but fuel pressure when the guages are acting up but when the gauges come back the truck starts it seems to give me more truble on a hot day
Ok.. have you checked power to the fuel pump when this happens?
no i dont have a power tester here but the fuel pressure comes up to 8 lbs
If the fuel pressure reads 8 psi when this happens, chances are the fuel pump is getting power. It sounds to me like you have a bad fuel pump. The only thing left to do is to check power back at the fuel pump to be sure you are getting FULL battery voltage when this happens.

Hello! Is there anything I can clear up for you?
truck started ran for 10 min stalled hasent run since what does the code no bus mean
No bus means that the BUS circuit is not working.Have you checked for spark and fuel pressure again when cranking it over? If so, what are the results?
got spark but no fuel pressure why does the fuel gauge not come on
This is because the computers on your vehicle are not communicating with each other over the BUS circuit. Any sensor or module on board your vehicle can short out causing this problem. You will need to track it down. Can you check for reference voltage going to the TPS voltage on the throttle body for me with the key on and let me know? This will help out big time.
how do check the voltage without a power tester
You are going to need to get one
why is the problem intermentant ? im in a remote community and wont be able to get one till tues
This is what electrical parts do when they go bad. They short out intermittently.
Hello!Just so you are aware, the rating you have given was negative. It will now affect my feedback ratings in a negative way. I am not sure why you gave me a negative rating. I am only trying to help you. Please reply back to me and let me know what I can clear up for you.
