Optional Information: Year: 2003 Make: Dodge Model: 2500 Engine: 5.9 cummins Already Tried: i have removed rockers wires and bolts
Hello! Welcome to justanswer! You removed both bolts on the injector right?
yes and both rockers
Do your injectors have 2 wires hooked to each one?
yes i changed one a couple of years ago right in the dodge dealer parking lot it wasnt this tough it is really stuck in there i am somewhat mechanicaly inclined it seems like it should just pull out
It does but you got lucky last time. They tend to weld themselves in. Heres a picture and part number of the tool you need:Click Here For Picture
Also, you can soak the injector with high strength penetrating oil like PB Blaster then try and pry it out. Its just stuck in there.
you didnt tell me that you have to remove fuel line and nozzle the mechanic at poncis deisel told me that he has never had one weld itself in hes replaced thousands he is an expert maybe you can save face by telling me where tdc can be seen so i can adjust the valves
