engines dies when running.why?
Optional Information: Year: 2005 Make: Dodge Model: magnum RT Engine: hemi 5.7 Already Tried: when that happen I STARTED again.when the car start runnig goes of again.

yes, the check light on.

Its runs about 2 or 3 meters and then shuts off.
Does it usually shut off at slow speeds or all the time?
The first time that its happen it was at hight speed. Then when you try to start it ,its runs
buts shuts off again
OK it could be a few things the best thing to do would be have the engine computer checked to see what code is causing the check engine light to be on most auto parts store willl check codes for you for free
The 5.7L are known for egr and ignition coil issues both can cause the issue you are having.

i would rather have you get it checked to see what codes are in there rather than just throwing parts at it. Let me know if you need any more help.
