Hi Welcome to Just Answer!
It is pretty easy actually all you need to do is remove both drive shafts and then disconnect the wiring connectors from the top of the transfer case. Once you have those off there is a vent hose on top you need to disconnect and also disconnect the linkage to the transfer case shifter. Once all that is disconnected there are 6 or 8 nuts you need to remove where the transfer case attaches to the transmission once you have those off the transfer case slides right off the back of the transmission. Then just reverse the process to install the new one.
You may need to jack up the transmission and remove the trans mount to get access to the bottom nuts.
Sounds quite easy. I'll let you know how I make out. Thanks!
