Hi Welcome to Just Answer! The p0700 code is just a general trans fault that is the code the trans controller uses to tell the engine controller to turn on the check engine light you will need to get a scan tool that can communicate with the transmission controller to see what codes are in there.

i also have codes p0734 and p0735 i

ok The P0734 is gear ratio error in 4 th gear the p0735 is gear ratio error in 5th gear first thing to do is check the fluid level if the fluid level is ok the trans has an internal issue that is causing it to slip in those two gear which require the trans to be removed and most likely overhauled.

does the electronics go bad in this like the internal computer

does the electronics go bad in this like the internal computer or the shift module ever go bad

it is very rare for the copter to go bad you see one fail once in a while but not very often and the controls that are in the transmission usually cause circuit codes not gear ratio error codes

Customer replied 333 days and 18 hours ago.

so u think it most likely needs to b rebuilt, sry for asking so much but this is the second transmittion it never seemed to slip just failed

I would check the fluid first but with those two codes it definitely sounds like a clutch inside the trans is slipping allot of times on these transmissions it will set a code and go into limp mode before you ever feel it slip
