I have 1995 Dodge Stealth R/T TT 6speed AWD.Car will start up for 2 to 3 sec and stop runing? Give car 5 min,it will start up and do same? Plugs are fouled with gas?Fuel psi is 38 to 42psi. Gas in oil? I Have concern about pulling codes(check engine light)? I don't have any codes,even if i pull off cam and crank sensors harness? No code? Did ECM Terminal Voltages Inspection,(One's i could with car not runing).On the ECM to cam sensor test?ECM(Pin88)to(Pin2)cam sensor,test's bad? It gave a OL? Did harness check and test was good.I put in new cam sensor.It's same? So i put in remaufactared ECM.It same?I have also put in new (3) fuel relay,(2)MFI relay,(2)PTU,(1)starter relay(1)stepper motor,one set of fuelinjectors,(1)ECU coolent temp sensor,(1)Old coil pk? (10)new set's plugs(Gap.024to.038)Check all fusible link,fuses and relays.Test fuel resistor and fuel pump resistor(good).Test TPS and harness(good).Harness test's i did are MFI relay,fuel relay,cam and crank sensors,fuel,boost,egr,purge solenoid,stepper motor,ignition switch-st,thrttle position sensor,PTU,ECM coolent sensortheft relay.(all good).And lot more test's? There is no back firing and timing belt was done at 60,000mi.Car in time.Did intercooler psi test and it was good(20psi).Any help or test's you have even if i have done it? I need to know if there a einmobleisre on my car? And can you tell me what a IOD is and what it's for? And any information i can use? Steve

Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX thanks for using JustAnswer. It looks like you have thought of just about everything. Try to think back, when you replaced any of these components. Did it ever seem like one part fixed it? Did the car run noticeably longer until it cut off?
Hi Beranard.Only when i put new plugs in?The old plugs are so fouled that car will not fire. I have to say no it alway same form day one. Is there a immobiliser on my car? It act just like my 2001 Durango ? I had a key made to open doors ?But did not have it program run Durango. And if you use key to try to start, It do same as Stealth(Startup and run for 2or3sec)?

That stealth sounds like its the top of the line so I would bet it has an anti-theft system. Look in the bottom drivers side fuse box for the 10A anti-theft fuse and look for two relays right above the fuse box. Swap the alarm relay with the blower motor relay and see what you get. I know you said you already changed the ECM but this exact issue has been solved many times by swapping a computer. Take the side plate off of both of those computers and look for corrosion on the capacitors or burn spots.
Yes it has theft system.So theft system and immobiliser or same? I swap relays,It's same? + I put in new alarm starter relay.My 1st ECM i did take plate off and it look all good? 2nd ECM i can not open it up? If i do,I can not return unit for guaranteed. Mybe i will return ECM(To be tested)? How" Accept Answer" work? If i accept can i reply back to you,are do i start all over with new expert? Thank You Steve
Just a theft system. The stealth does not have the security chip in the key like your 2001 Durango. We can try a simple test to disarm the factory system but if it yields no results, I would have the PCM tested since it is a known fault with these vehicles and the symptoms match. On to the test!Remove the moulding by the rear hatch latch.Look for the alarm's trunk sensor harness. (plug directly under the latch)Find the blue wire with a red stripe.Ground that wire.Here's my reasoning. The anti theft system will not activate if it believes a door/trunk is open. By grounding that wire, it tricks the system.Use the accept button if you feel like you are receiving good advice. We will work on this together until we can get your Stealth to run.Bernard

Forgot to answer your first question. You can swap the two relays, they are exactly the same.
Hi Bernard I did not see it be for to day? My tac is working tell car start and runs for 2 to 4sec, tac stops working when car stop runing? But when I try to start car 2nd time tac don't work and car will not start? +it's has fires on coil A? I need to see if it fires on C and B coils on 2nd try?And put in my new coils.So i ground blue/red wire and it trick system.But car did same.I am going to ship ECM off to be tested today. AUTOECMS.com say there ECM was good and my car is frying ECMs? "My Be?" If you have any more advice or information let me know? (I can use it?) It will be a week or more befor ECM will be return.I will put old ECM in and keep trying? Thank's for help. Steve
Ok, let's start from the beginning. Have you checked for codes since? Do you have a obd scanner with live data? I read your initial post and noticed you did not mention your mass air flow sensor. Have you tried to run the car with it unplugged?
Be for shiping off ECM i check for codes it does not give any? Have data logger HHHH and it don't give me any codes or data? I did unplugged mass with old ECM.And now i unplugged mass on 2nd ECM? Car the same.I put in new coils and all coils fire. + I put in my old ECM.Car same. I'm trying see how i can test the wire to ingition timing adjustment connector?(Pin52 ECM to Pin1 A-18 connector.)
