1990 Dakota: brain is bad in it but I went to the parts store

Hey Chris, Different Dodge this time it is a 1990 Dakota 4 X 4 and the brain is bad in it but I went to the parts store and was told there were three different ones for this particular model and I need the number off of the broken brain but it is completely rubbed out or gone. How do I order the correct part if I can't find the number?

You have a 90 and a 92 listed here, so can you clarify the year and the engine size for me.

Also, it would help to know if this is an automatic or manual trans and whether or not it is california emissions.

It is a 1992 4 X 4 automatic as for the engine all I can tell you right now is that it is a V-6. It is not California Emissions
