I assume the fluid level is good? That has been checked?

Customer replied648 days and 11 hours ago.

Then it is just going to be a problem with your linkage, it was either damaged or there is still debris stuck up under the truck ocstructing it.

A visual inspection would be the first thing to do.

Customer replied648 days and 11 hours ago.

But there is notthing under or ocstructing it

Then it must be damaged or bent up. Is it stuck in park?

Customer replied648 days and 11 hours ago.

No the forward gears work fine..

And you can get it in park also?

Customer replied648 days and 11 hours ago.

yes .

Other than damage to the linkage, it could be some kind of problem internally but that does not make any sense if you only ran off the road. It would be a strange coincidence if your transmission failed at the same time as the accident, and that is an unusual failure to only lose reverse.

Customer replied648 days and 11 hours ago.

But I have replaced three solenoids in the trans when I did a tuneup on it about a year ago because a guy at the dealership said it would be a good idea

Did you lose reverse at the time of the accident?

Customer replied648 days and 10 hours ago.

yes

I would really be checking the linkage, it's strange but I don't know what else it could be.
