have you had the computer read for fault codes and then repaired yet? Or has the service engine soon light just come on?

Just came on following slippage in the torque converter and one engine rev to 4500 rpm.

Hi,

Ok, you can erase the codes and reset the check engine light by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, or by use of a scan tool.

HOWEVER, if the light comes back on, then you have a hard fault and need to have computer read for stored fault codes and then diagnosed and repaired
