Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

P0344 is for the camshaft position sensor. The cam sensor reads off a tone wheel on the right cam sprocket and tells the engine controller where the crank is in it's rotation. This code could be caused by the cam sensor, the crank sensor, wiring, the powertrain control module, or a cam timing problem. It's very likely being caused by the cam sensor itself, not unheard of on the 4.7.
