hi, this problem can be cause by a number of problems in the engine compartment as well in dash board heater box, first you need to verify both hoses to the fire wall are hot can you verify that by touching both hoses one at the time and see if hot
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
both hoses seem to be hot
Expert:  ricardo hohl replied 6 years ago.
ok, then there is no problems with circulation from the engine the problem is inside the dash board, is the engine overheating?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
no, the engine will not heat up ,so no warm air comes from heater
Expert:  ricardo hohl replied 6 years ago.
if both the heater hoses are hot to the touch then the engine temperature is good and flow to the inside of the dash board heater core is good, if one heater hose is hot and the other one is cold then you have a heater cored clogged ., and if both heater hoses are cold in to the dash then the engine has a temperature insufficient problem, were the engine is not reaching temperatures.

when you start the truck and let it reach temperatures does the temperature gage goes to at least close to the middle?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
No temp gauge showes approx. 110 which is to loewr left of center.
Expert:  ricardo hohl replied 6 years ago.
ok, 110 is not enough for heating the inside compartment , you say you install a thermostat? ok,is the electric fan running all the time? does the manual fan clutch stays on all the time?
