hello, before we do any testing -- unhook negative battery for 5 minutes to reset the control modules -- then let me know
ok, just give me a minute
that is fine -- these are all computer controlled
doing it now....
I got it unhooked...waiting 5 minutes...
keep me posted,tim
do you want me to reconnect after 5 mins?
yes, that is correct
same results, only rear windows working
then -- this eliminates the computer as the issues and odds are we are looking at a faulty left front door master switch
ok, how to remove from door panel?
there are no fuses or anything else in question?
is there any tricks to it?
such as a certain place to pry from?
you still there?
can a use or regulator cause this problem?
sorry for delay -- it just pops up -- and a regulator would not cause the lock issue
what about a fuse?
if fuse -- then none would work
so, do you think I am safe to buy an $80 switch? I don't want to pay them $100 to diagnose....
yes-- i would just swap out the switch
thanks for using just answer and take care, tim
