2006 Jeep Liberty, OBD code u110e.... The vehicle runs rough... What does this code mean?

U110E-LOST AMBIENT TEMPERATURE MESSAGE

CAN C BUS CIRCUIT OPEN OR SHORTED
BODY CONTROL MODULE
PCM

Theory of Operation

The ambient temperature sensor signal is a direct input to the BCM. The BCM sends the PCM the ambient temperature signal over the CAN C bus

i would replace the ambient temperature sensor

OK good enough I already have the part in hand.. I am having trouble on where to install it, ( on the vehicle) LOL!!!

lets just unplug the sensor and drive and see if better- located under hood by the radiator
