Hello and welcome to just answer Dodge. Do you need info on how to change the actual electrical portion, or the ignition key cylinder?

the ingintion key cylinder i have the part and the key. The key hole is locked and i cant turn it so i bought a new one but cant get the old one out?

Ok, you are going to have to get it to turn to the run position before the cylinder can be removed. Try tapping on the end of the key with a hammer( like you are trying to tap the key into the cylinder further). and then try to get it to turn. This usually works. Then once you get it to turn, depress the little square button on the bottom of the cylinder housing, and then the cylinder should pull out. Let me know how it goes,
