does it have the very short lever that pivots right where the handle stops or the one that the lever goes way back into the column --or does it pivot just the wheel or the whole column

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
It goes back into the column and pivots the column not just the wheel
Expert:  rich replied 7 years ago.
that style the factory does not give info on--you get that part with a new column--i will opt out and see if any one else knows--i have a column out of a pt that is the same style--i will pull it apart and see if i can find out for you
Expert:  rich replied 7 years ago.
actually it is very easy--do you have the column out of the truck?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
no I am just trying to remove the column shroud to get at the ignition
Expert:  rich replied 7 years ago.
then you dont have to remove the lever--just pull the lever down and leave it there--then take the 2 screws out of the shroud from the bottom and the lower piece of the shroud bends out over the lock cyl and slides out --the shroud is grooved all the way out where the lever goes back into the column
