2005 Dodge Durango: Cruise Control light comes on, but cruise control is not working. Is there a fuse or relay I should be looking for?
Optional Information: Year: 2005Make: DodgeModel: DurangoEngine: 6 cyl Already Tried: Looked at fuses under dash. Didn't see anything obvious, but I didn't physically pull and check fuses. Don't know which one is for cruise.
hello, there are no fuses in the speed control system. the switch is a multiplexed switch,in other words it has one signal wire to the pcm and just changes resistance based on what position you move it to. since the light comes on we no the wireing to the pcm is good. the most likely culprit is going to be a faulty switch, but it may also be a vacuum line off at the servo. first check the vacuum line at the servo and make sure there is vacuum there while the engine is running. if there is then the next test will require a scan tool to monitor the pcm and see what input it is seeing when you use the switch.
