How do you remove the fan clutch on a 2008 5.7 L Hemi ? Procedure and tools required ?

Hello and thanks for your post. Well the procedure for removing the fan clutch is first you leave your fan belt on this will provide a surface of resistance so when you use your wrench the waterpump wont allow too much slippage. Second you will need a fan clutch wrench or an air hammer to remove the clutch whatever tool you decide to use you will need to be directly in front of the truck and it comes off counter clockwise. Once off the water pump you simply loosen the four bolts and remove from fan blade and install new clutch. The threads are right hand on the waterpump.
