Symptoms of a bad flex plate on a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan

Hello and welcome to just answer Dodge. There are a couple of symptoms that can be related to a bad flex plate, 1 is a noise concern (sraping, clicking type noise) and 2, a misfire caused by cracks in the plate near the area where the flex plate bolts to the crank. I have seen both of these occur every now and then on the Caravans.

Hope this information helps, and let me know if you need more assistance with this.
