2005 dodge magnum: it will not shift into reverse, neutral or drive

Customer Question

I have a 2005 dodge magnum and it will not shift into reverse, neutral or drive. What could be the problem?

HiCustomer

There could be a problem with the transmission range selector or a shift solenoid. I'm assuming you can shift it into reverse, just nothing happens! Here's a PIC for you.

Thanks in advance for your ACCEPT and POSITIVE feedback,

Ron

The shifter isn't moving at all it's just staying in park.

Okay, here's what you need. Also, I can still help you after you have ACCEPTED too.

Thanks again,

Ron
