i need an abs pump for front wheel drive but cant locate in my area. anyone have any suggestions where i could post a request for this? 93 dodge caravan
Hi,this problem has been an on going recall, sounds like you may be away from every thing. You may contact the nearest dealer and it maybe fixed for free.
i need the part. no dodge dealer i spoke will replace the part for free and the part is 400.00, the master cyclinder with pump dealer price is 2825.00. i need to find a used one.
Where are you?
i am in valley springs calif
Can you give me the last 8 of VIN? I want to look this up,i believe that it still is a covered recall.

Ok hang tight
i am trying to.
being a disabled senior citizen doesnt give me much money to spend on cars. i have already bought the master cyclinder w/ pump, 8 hrs labor and am trying desparately to find the abs pump.
I am still searching for an answer,i see it was done in 98.Wher is valley springs,is it near lake elsinore?
between stockton and sacramento, also near angels camp
Looks like there is a used one in san jose.I will send you the site
hope it works, <smile> appreciate the help, have been going crazy, buses run 4 times a day, not weekends, nor holidays or evenings and no taxi.
called the 800 number, said dont have it, its a dealership item. i did get one from a dismantler but it didnt work so i know it isnt strictly a dealership item.
It maybe a liability. We are thinking its still under recall.Call(NNN) NNN-NNNNSee what they say.this is Chrysler help line.
ok will do. guess after this you're out of ideas.
thanks for trying to help me
I have e-mailed some friends in your area and see if they have any ideas
just talked to stockton dodge they need the car to see if it falls under the parameters to replace, i would have to tow there, if they say no, i would have to tow home again. towing charges are high if i did that i might as well go ahead and pay the 400 for the part. so its between a rock and a hard place i am at.
thanks for emailing friends
They dont need the vehicle just a vin.I know we would probably do it,its been such a safety issue i have been replacing them since 89.
i gave them the vin when i called, they also asked for the mileage but i have no idea and the car isnt at my house, its at a mechanics place
The last mileage i say was 195000
i just called another dodge dealer, he said to tow it to the nearest dodge dealer and they HAVE to replace it. i am leary of this, afraid after i get it towed it will end up not being covered. if it was a closer tow it wouldnt be so bad.
Understand, thats why you call chrysler directly,if they say yes then the dealer has to honor that.
i couldnt get past the automated responses, each one said to go to dodge.com or email them but i couldnt get through. i have to go to a dr appt so will be away from the computer and i have wasted too much of your time, but appreciate the help. my email addy is XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX if you come up with a solution.
