97 dodge: My four wheel drive..vaccum..hanging repair shop

Customer Question

I have a 97 dodge ram four wheel drive. My four wheel drive will not go in. It worked perfect and then i saw a vaccum line hanging down and it was then zip tide up by auto repair shop. But it still is only connected to the (selenoid??) and just hanging there on the other end. Im guessing thats why my four wheel drive doesnt work. But I dont know where the other end goes? OR is this even the problem you think? Thanks

do you know where this vaccum line that was zip tied goes to? differential or 4wd transfer case? there was an issue when battery acid would drip down from the battery and destroy the vaccum line? Does this line dissapear around this area?
