I have a 2001 dodge dakota I changed my distributor cap, plugs and wires. I was not paying attention about the wires and were they go on the cap. Help?

I have a SMPIv6 3.9L

The firing order is 1 6 5 4 3 2 and is wired clock wies on the cap and number one is marked on the cap. If I have helped you please hit the accept button. Thanks

How do I know which wires is 1 6 5 4 3 2 to put on the cap in order? DO you have a picture the shows right side long, medium, short and the same with the left side? I have two extra wires one I know where it goes the other is just extra?

Number 1 is the first plug on the drivers side next to it is number 3 and then the last one on the drivers side is number 5 on the pass side from the front is number 2 and then number 4 and the last on on the pass side is number 6 I cant find a picture of this for you but this will tell you were they are.the plug wires that are the longest are #1 and #2 the two meduim ones are #3 and # XXXXX and the two shortest are #5 and number #6
