1999 dodge intrepid: timing chain..the marks on the gears

1999 dodge intreped 2.7 timing chain has no different color links. how do i no were to put the marks on the gears

The chain WILL have different color links. The only problem is that it is covered in oil and hard to see. I would suggest you clean the chain thoroughly and the different color links will be more apparent. You can re-oil the chain once it is installed.

There is no colored links on the chain i washed it in solvent. haw many links between the crank sprocket and athe cam sprockets. I think this has a aftermarket chain in it.
