passenger front window on 2001 Dodge Dakota is off track. Steps to remove door panel and problems I might have in attaching window to track again?

If your Dakota has the Mechanical Regulator, then the Glass may have disconnected from the Regulator or the Regulator has a worn slider or 2. Parts may not be available, depending on what is worn or broken, so you may to replace Regulator, which will also include the Motor.
