passenger front window on 2001 Dodge Dakota is off track. Steps to remove door panel and problems I might have in attaching window to track again?
Optional Information: 1991 Dodge Dakota V-8Already Tried: Pulled window up with needle nose and secured. Window appears off track. How much trouble to take off the door panel and concern for window switch, door handle, locks etc.
If your Dakota has the Mechanical Regulator, then the Glass may have disconnected from the Regulator or the Regulator has a worn slider or 2. Parts may not be available, depending on what is worn or broken, so you may to replace Regulator, which will also include the Motor.Here is Dodge procedure (.pdf)
