Here are directions for replacing the thermostat:

  • Drain cooling system
  • Raise and support front of vehicle
  • Remove splash shield underneath vehicle
  • Disconnect and remove lower radiator hose from thermostat housing
  • Remove thermostat housing bolts, and remove housing and thermostat
  • Install in reverse order
