The oil pressure sending unit on my 1988 dodge 318 pick up truck is leaking mechanic did something to it several months ago...i thing all he did was to tighten it down...can I just tighten it down or will I have to install a new one...thanks for our help...Jim

Depending on where it is leaking:
Threads or Sending Unit Body

If your mechanic tightened it already & it is leaking around the threads, the threads may have been stretched....Replace

If the Body is leaking, Replace
