2006 dodge grand caravan: disable..electronic key..the alarm function

Resolved Question:

I have a 2006 dodge grand caravan i would like to disable the electronic key function so I can use a regular key if this means to disable the alarm function so be it .

can you help

Sorry, but you cannot disable this system. The Sentry Key Remote Entry Module communicates with the Powertrain Control Module as to whether a valid key is in the ignition. If the PCM does not recieve this signal it will not allow the vehicle to start. The signal is not simply an on or off reading it is a modulated comunication that runs over the vehicles data buss. It cannot be faked.
