1997 Dodge Grand Caravan: Front wipers and horn..Relay..wiring

Customer Question

1997 Dodge Grand Caravan- Front wipers and horn don't work.Relay, motor, and transmission are good. When jumpered, the wipers work. Is there any place to get wiring schematic?Could the problem be the wiring to the relay?

Sounds like you may have 2 seperate problems, but both also go thru the BCM(Body Control Module), so you may have to have the Dealer Check the BCM also
HORN:
Check the BLACK/RED (-) wire at Steering Column Harness. When you Press the Horn, BLACK/RED (-) wire should show Ground. (also, probe the wire with a Test lite to activate Horn) If horn works, then it is probably Clock Spring.
If horn does not work, then it is the Relay, Horn or Voiltage(fuse).

WIPERS:
Be sure there is Power to Wiper Motor.
Usually the Wiper Switch fails.
