I have a Kodak EasyShare DX4900 camera, and after the insertion of fresh batteries, and making sure the memory card was also installed, I pushed the on/off button, and the lense cover exposed the lens, which remained retracted. And the only indication
that the camera was on, was the message in the status display window. E11. Hope you have an answer.
