how can I get a Hitachi DZ-HS300A Camcorder DC power cord. It attaches to back of camcorder. Used to power camcorder while you finalize DVD.
Already Tried: tried to find a Hitachi DZ-HS300A Camcorder DC power cord online. It attaches to back of camcorder. Used to power camcorder while you finalize DVD.
There is a question about your 'power cord' - is it really a power cord, or is it an AC Adapter? You should be able to tell, by looking at the place where it plugs into the camcorder. If the place it plugs in looks somewhat like a figure-8, then it is a power cord. If the place it plugs in is small and circular, then it is an AC Adapter. If a power cord:http://www.partstore.com/Part/Hitachi+Ltd/Hitachi/DZHS300A/Hitachi+Ltd/Hitachi/EV11004/New.aspxIf an AC Adapter (and I suspect that this is really for the battery charger shown, not for the camera itself):http://www.amazon.com/Hitachi-DZ-HS300A-Camcorder-Battery-Charger/dp/B000F7H0YMI advise that you examine the pictures on each page cited above, and decide which is appropriate for your needs upon due consideration.
Neither one is what I need. The part plugs into the battery charger setup and the plugs into the back of camcorder where battery normally plugs in. It's the same size as a battery but thinner. Maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide. It give camcorder power from a wall outlet so you can run camcorder without it's battery. It's uded to power camcorder while you are Finalizing your DVD. Call me at 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX to discusss if needed. Thank you for your help. David
I will not be able to call you by phone, JustAnswer.com terms do not allow that, unfortunately. It might help the process of searching for the particular part / adapter that you are seeking, if you could provide a part # XXXXX the old one, or wherever you might obtain information about it. I found no device of that kind in my initial search.
I don't have the part. I lost it. All Iknow is that it attaches to the battery charger device with about a 2ft wire that has an attachment that plugs into the back of camcorder. It lets you plug camcorder into a wall outlet so you can run it without the battery. If you have no idea what I need do you have a Hitachi Phone number you can give me and I'll call them. Please advise and Thank you for your help. David
