I have a Sony SLT-35 Camera with a Sony 55-200 telephoto lens.

Customer Question

I have a Sony SLT-35 Camera with a Sony 55-200 telephoto lens. When taking an action photo using the Telezoom Cont. Advance Priority setting, it won't focus and keeps zooming in and out. If the shutter does release the photo is usually blurry. Is this normal, the result of camera shake or a defect?

Try shooting from a tripod, or even setting it on a brick wall or other stable solid supporting surface... with the same settings, if it is not blurry that way, then the problem is shakiness of the camera obviously.

Otherwise... well, tell me if it's otherwise and I'll try to figure it out. But my feeling at this point is that the focus system is flummoxed by shakiness of the image.
