I have a fuji s4500 fine pix, and it dropped off my dresser

I have a fuji s4500 fine pix, and it dropped off my dresser and now says the lense cap is on. Can this be fixed?

Look very carefully at the lens barrel is it centered and is the shutter open?

Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX usually refers to a problem with the lens. Make sure the lens is centered (which you already did so you can skip this) if not push it in a bit to make sure it is. If there is any dust around the rim this can cause this as well. Unfortunately if it is centered and there is no dust around the rim of the lens it normally means the lens itself needs to be replaced. Any local camera shop should be able to do this for you. I would call around first as it came sometimes be expensive.
