Somehow the button you press to take a picture (Shutter button?) on my Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 came off. Maybe a little part came off? The thing that allows it to focus/autofocus/capture a picture? I can't take any pictures. Can it be fixed?
Already Tried: Nothing yet.
Hi,Yes, camera can be fixed, need to install new shutter button but this work should be done by qualified person because camera will take apart in detail for shutter button replacement.Required shutter button is available in partstore.com (click the link to view part image and price)Hope these info will help, let me know if there is additional question.Thanks.
I still have the button, but it doesn't stay on when I put it in the slot, and I followed the link you suggested and it looks like the one I have, but the spring isn't included. I think I need a spring? Maybe that's the problem; the spring came off. And maybe there's another part that holds the button in place? Either way you are saying I can't fix it myself, right?
I can't determine your skills and expertise, you can decide it better. The part consist of three things, lower ring, upper shutter knob and spring between both parts and internal lock holds all three things intact to make it shutter release assembly. The part in your hand is broken that is why spring came off it.Hope this will help.
