I am an expert
Hello. This is Dr. Love, a different expert.
The most common condition that will cause recurrent pimples on the forehead with the appearance on the image that improves with Elocon is inflammatory acne, and the associated inflammation is what is improving with the Elocon. There are other treatments that can be used to help prevent the pimples. The most commonly used medicines are topical benzoyl peroxide or tretinoin. Antibiotics can also help, which can either be used topically or orally, such as topical erythromycin or oral minocycline. The topical steroids are OK for treatment of the inflammation, although we would prefer to limit the duration of use of steroids on the face.
If I can provide any additional information, please let me know.
