There seems to be an acute infection in the oral cavity which is giving you these symptoms. This infection can be in the gums,teeth or in the throat. I would suggest that you do take Ibuprofen to help relieve the pain and Acetaminophen for pain. You will need a prescription of antibiotic to get rid of the infection and for this you need to visit your GP. Fever with pain is usually a sign of infection. If there is no fever than a possibility of temporo mandibular joint pain should also be considered.
