Water-proof boots in hot summertime - good idea?

water-proof boots in hot summertime - good idea?

Not really

I guess if the kid is going to be walking in mud and water a lot.

From a health standpoint, I see no reason to do that.

It will create a less healthy environment for the feet.

More chance of fungal infection.

At least in theory.

Or possibly.

I see no health reason why a kid has to wear water proof boots ion the summer at all.
