Hello!

It sounds that you had some bleeding in deep tissue such as beneath skin and perhaps muscle.. The blood may drift giving effect of the bruise drift appearance ..

Do you take a blood thinner? Aspirin or Plavix or Xarelto or Coumadin or other ? These will may bruising more likely to occur ....

You may benefit to take added daily vitamin C 500 mg per day as helpful to reduce bruising tendency ....
