I have had a leision on my lip month which is not healing.

Customer Question

Hi. I have had a leision on my lip for 1 month which is not healing. Started with a small split after a visit to the dentst for a clean but has progressed to a curcular shaped bright red leision with an slightly indented feel the size of a pea on my bot***** *****p. It has stayed that size & shape for 3 weeks. Have tried paw paw ointment, coconut oil, Zovirax & multiple lip balms without any change. Could tbis be a skin cancer or any other suggestions?

Do you have pain in spot and do you feel lump while pressing area ?

Regards .

There is a throbbing ferling and it is sore to touch. The actual leision feels indented but there feels like a bulge on the top side of the lip but not directly under it.

Thanks for info ...

I have seen the spot , as you mentioned that there is some tenderness and throbbing feeling , this seems to be infected spot and it is highly likely that there must be underneath small pussy material which is giving throbbing feeling .

It would be ideal for you to have examination of spot and for appropriate antibiotics please .

Good luck .

Please rate my answer as good service .

Ps: i would prefer not to have to go on antibiotics. Is there anything i could use topically or take orally to help the infection/healing without taking antibiotics?

It would be good for you to apply Polyfox ointment over spot .

And avoid scratching over spot .

Taking Vitamin C will boost immunity .
