This is Dr. David
she could be having an allergic reaction to food she has eaten the day before for dinner possibly.
swollen lips or tongue can often be a sign of a severe allergic rection
you should bring her to an allergy and immunology doctor
to get skin and blood allergy testing to see what she might be allergic to
and keep a food log of what she is eating and what might be causing these reactions.
she might even need a lip biopsy to find out what is causing the swelling.
let me know if you have questions.
