Thank you. Can you tell me what antibiotics at what dose and duration you have used please? Which shampoo's did you use? Do you have skin problems elsewhere?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I dont know the medication, i was on it for 10 days to deal with what my GP said was folloicititus, other than that i would send you he actual med when i get home later. The shampoos are T Gel cold tar based from Neutrogena and head and shoulders with eucalliptus and have added tea tree oil.

Ok. Your pictures are suggestive of infection of the hair follicles, a condition called folliculitis. I would suggest the following treatment for this: 1. Clindamycin gel applied twice daily all over the scalp2. Rifampicin 600mg tab- taken once daily for 20 days3. Clindamycin 300mg tab taken twice daily for 6 weeks. - you can stop this in 20 days if your scalp is completely clear.4. T-Gel Shampoo- use daily This should clear it up. However you will need to ask your doctor for a prescription for these as over the counter creams generally do not work. To prevent recurrence, please continue using the shampoo and avoid shaving your head (just use a trimmer). Do not worry, this is nothing serious.Hope this helps. Do keep me posted & get back if you have any further questions or feel that I have missed out anything. I will be here to provide ongoing advice as necessary. Best wishes.
