Thank you for the additional information.

You are most likely having what is called as idiopathic hyperhidrosis.

Idiopathic hyperhidrosis is the most common form of excessive sweating. It is called idiopathic because no cause can be found for it.

Treatment of your condition includes the following treatment options:

Treatment for excessive sweating depends on the cause. This may include:

  • Reducing weight – if obese
  • Antiperspirant applications – sprays, powders and roll-ons
  • Iontophoresis – the activity of sweat glands is temporarily reduced by passing a low-level electric current through the skin
  • Botox injections – to paralyse sweat glands. The effect from a single injection lasts six to nine months
  • Surgery – to the nerves that control sweat glands may be considered in severe cases where all other treatments have been unsuccessful.

This session is open for any further questions that you may have. The only way I am credited here by the website and the money that you have deposited is released is when you rate me.

Expert:  Dr. SH replied 8 months ago.

There is no definitive evidence to suggest that anything else other than what I mentioned is of proven benefit.

Botox injections are very helpful and I would recommend that you should have that if possible.
