These do look like herpes simplex infection scabs.
Since how long do you have them ?
Yes , so in the incubation period the scabs may have come. I would suggest you to apply Neosporin ointment on the area twice a day for 10 days . You would get it over the counter.
You can take oral prescription of Valacyclovir daily for 7 days in the prescribed dose as this is available as a prescription from the doctor.
It would heal totally.
You can consider doing blood tests for HSV 1 and HSV 2 .
