Customer Question

Hi - I have a lesion in my pubic region (pic attached). I had originally circa 6/7 months ago but I scratched it off and it has grown back slightly to what you see. Just wondering what it could be? Is it likely a wary of some kind or some other kind of lesion?

Did you have history of sexual exposure ( unprotected ) before this occurred ?

I was worried it might be skin cancer or something worrisome
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

Does it bleed when you touch it ?

Does any white cheesy material come out from the area ?

Does the area pain when touched ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No bleeding / no cheesy material / no pain
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

Thank you so much for the reply.

From the history that you have mentioned it looks like a dermal fibrosis due to folliculitis ( inflammation of the hair follicle)

This smooth surfaced lesion is not a wart/molluscum / viral infection nor is it a skin cancer.

There is nothing to worry.

This can be treated with either Cryofreezing with liquid nitrogen.
