Customer Question

Hi,
I hope someone can help. I have a growth on my thumb, it's just to the side of my nail and is about 1.5cm long, it started about a year ago and has slowly got bigger. It is slightly raised, darker in colour and is hyper sensitive. If I put my hand in hot water, its like that part is in boiling water, and if I tap it it's like I have hit it with a hammer. It can also get very dry and splits.
Many thanks
Charlotte

Do you tend to count notes frequently with that thumb ?

It does like psoriasiform eczema and would need the following line of treatment

You can use over the counter Cortaid and Neosporin ointment twice a day for 10 days . After the lesion heals make sure you continue the above mixture twice a week to maintain the effect .

You should use Cetaphil Cleansing lotion to wash your hand .

Use Cetaphil Moisturizing lotion or Intensive Neutrogena Hand Moisturizer to hydrate the skin on the area.

Take Vitamin A supplements daily for 2 months.

All these medications mentioned above are available over the counter .

Please do get back to me in case of any further queries.

Do you Agree with what i have mentioned ?
