I put an excess amount of benzoyl peroxide lotion on an area around my nose, now my skin has been dry, cracked, and a little orange but only in that area. I'm also getting excess amount of cysts now. What do I do?

From the photo that you have sent , it looks like your face as reacted to the drying out properties of benzoyl peroxide.

You have got a visible irritant contact dermatitis of the skin.

This can be treated with local application of Cortaid and Neosporin ointment on the area twice a day for 10 days.

This would help in reducing the inflammation on the area and help heal it.

Use over the counter Ictyane cream ( Avene ) on the skin daily to help heal the excessive dryness.

Use Cetaphil cleansing lotion to cleanse the area.

Take Vitamin E capsule once daily to heal the area.
